Sebuah museum helikopter telah di buka di Torzhok sejak 1989. Museum ini termasuk unik, terdiri dari 14 mesin yang mewakili sejarah industri helikopter di Rusia. Direktur museum, Alexander Manko adalah pilot tempur yang memiliki jam terbang tinggi ,dan 3600 misi tempur serta lebih dari 150 di Afghanistan, ia juga seorang pensiunan letnan kolonel. Dia telah diberikan penghargaan Orde Red Star untuk pengembangan Mi-24A, dan dengan Orde Banner Merah untuk misi tempur di Afghanistan. Dia pernah terbang dengan Mi-1 Mi-2, Mi-8 dan Mi-24.
